A chemical structure and reaction database encompassing in excess of 3.5 million reactions and more than 28 million factual data entries extracted from over three quarters of a million original papers and patents that have been published since 1974.
The InfoChem SPRESI database focuses on synthetically important organic reactions. It supplies reaction conditions, yields, and molecular properties as well as citations to the original literature from which these data are drawn. SPRESI is abstracted from articles, conference publications, and patents.
The database was originally a joint effort of the All-Union Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR (VINIT) and the German Zentrale Informationsverarbeitung Chemie in Berlin (ZIC).
